I may just have to pick up all of them except for Sly. Been wanting to play all of them, but I hate paying full price for current gen games this close to launch.

I agree wholeheartedly with 15, except I'm more of a PS gamer. I enjoy games in general honestly.

Jay, you can always get a PS3 after some price drops. I plan on getting a 360 when it's around $150-200, which will be quite a while. Or you can just do what I do in the meantime, go to your friends' houses that will have a PS3 and play it. Both those games look great by the way. You know you'll be missing some MGS4, new Ratchet and Clank, Killzone PS3, and Warhawk, right? :) ...

I wasn't disagreeing with the first part, just the second where you said that he prefers the 360, "Plus he does say GOW is the best looking game so far, even running of 1/3 of 360's CPU. So really he's supporting the 360 far more than the PS3. Any console with almost an additional year will have better developed games."

I agree with the last sentence, but I don't think he greatly prefers the 360 over the PS3. They're a multi-platform dev that has their new engine inc...

No, he's not saying that. He's saying that PS3 is in a better place for launch because the devs have had more time with final hardware to prepare their launch titles so that they are better looking, run smoothly, online works (unlike COD2 at launch), etc. He's not saying the PS3 I$ TEH ROXORZ! but just that they're more prepared for launch.

To the above asking how long Xbox 360 devs had final dev kits, I believe it was around 2 months?.. Not sure exactly, but it was not 6 m...

Oh yeah, of course it looks like a 90's PC game. Here are some comparison shots to Half Life, which received a 9.5 rating from IGN.

Good graphics cards are $399 and up, expect to spend at least $400-$500 on a good dual core processor. They go up to around $1000 depending on how much you want to spend. Then you have to buy a sound card, case, power supply, hard drives, DVD-R/CD-R drive, cooling fans, etc... Possibly a monitor and PC speakers if you don't have them. While it's possible to build a PC for much cheaper than buying one from Alienware or a Dell XPS, you'd still be looking at $1000-1500 for a pretty good syst...

It's called a figure of speech, something you may have never heard of since you can't seem to spell correctly. 4th gen PS2 game, haha, that wouldn't be a bad thing considering MGS3 and God of War look better at lower resolutions than most of the Xbox 360 launch titles. But really, 4th gen PS2 game is not even thinking rationally.

Seems that you need to stop lying by claiming on every post regarding the PS3 that the PS3 cannot do AA and other effects such as HDR at the same time. I stand corrected about MS selling 5 million Xbox 360's. It really doesn't matter to me how many they sell, honestly.

They've just now shipped (not sold) 5 million units. This is July, 8 months after launch. There is less than 4 months until Sony launches. You think that they're going to sell over 5 million more units in 4 months? This game being cancelled doesn't mean anything to me, I could see why some would be alarmed at some games being cancelled in the last few weeks, but I don't think it's anything to be worried about. I would wager that there are many more games in the works now than what Sony h...

I think it has more to do with posting scans of magazines is illegal. Some sites are strict, others aren't. Thanks for posting this, none the less. It has shot up to the very top of my list after reading the article and reading of the stuff they have confirmed, seeing some more artwork, etc.

Voting lame as this is going to jumpstart the AMD integrated graphics "solution."

Interesting if true, and possibly something that I would pick up. Hopefully the loading times would be reduced due to the PS3 having a standard hard drive and being able to cache some of the game information. Don't know if I have the patience for this game though, I tend to pick games that are much shorter because I never finish long games. It's a well made game, and I've enjoyed playing what I have so far, but I'm sure that if this is true, there will be people out there much happier than...

The $600 version costs $750 to make, that's a $150 loss. I don't know the cost of the $500 version but the loss is probably comparable.

When Heavenly Sword, MGS4, Lair, and Final Fantasy XIII come out, I will remember what you just said. Stop with the flaming and trolling, geesh. Go post on some 360 threads, please. Jah man?

I very much agree, some IP bans are in order due to all the flames and trolling. Too bad it won't happen. It definitely wouldn't fly on PS3forums.com, which I have been a member of for around a year. There are tons of 360 fans there, but they keep a much tighter control on fanboys on both sides there.

"the company yesterday issued a sternly worded warning to the media about the reports, stating that it would sue any outlets that had damaged relationships with its clients."

Sounds like Asustek is threatening to sue any media outlets that have damaged their relationship with Sony by leaking information that was supposed to be protected by a Non Disclosure Agreement. This is a serious case of Asustek doing some CYA (cover your a##) in showing that they're doing damage co...

7123d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

They're scared because this sort of information being released is a violation of whatever NDA they signed with Sony, apparently. Good news for gamers as it appears that the report that was leaked is true, bad news for the company as Sony may penalize them, and worse news for whichever employee leaked the story.

I state that it's good news for gamers as it proves that the console is in production, thereby indicating that it will launch on time in November. It also seems to i...

Haha this is one of the few times that I agree with you. I enjoy watching him because he's so funny and seems like he's in his own little world. At the one time I respect him because of what's he's done for the Playstation brand, and because of his vision. The problem is that he's an engineer at heart and his visions are sometimes unrealistic and he tends to speak in the same way. Should be an interesting event, I would bet that he has some more surprises up his sleeve. Adding rumble bac...
